Kristin Harila Conquers Annapurna, Scaling New Heights on Her Remarkable Journey

Annapurna, Nepal – June 5^th, approx. 06:00AM – Mountaineer Kristin Harila has achieved yet another feat in her quest to conquer the world’s 14 highest peaks in 2023. Today, Kristin and Lama successfully reached the summit of Annapurna, marking their eighth mountain summit of the year. Annapurna, standing at an elevation of 8,091 meters (26,545 feet), poses challenges with its treacherous terrain, unpredictable weather conditions and avalanche risks. Kristin and her team’s determination, skill, and unwavering spirit have propelled them to conquer this Himalayan giant.

Kristin’s achievement at Annapurna further solidifies her position as an accomplished mountaineer. Throughout her journey, Kristin has faced numerous obstacles, pushing the limits of her physical and mental endurance. Her focus, preparation, and reliance on her experienced team from Seven Summit Treks have been instrumental in her success.

With 8 of 14 peaks summited, Kristin looks ahead to the next challenges that await her. She continues to push herself, with her sights set on completing the remaining six peaks on the list. She plans to maintain a safe and efficient climbing strategy to ensure she can finish her climbs within the established timeframe.
